Shiv Sena leader Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has described the contribution of Mayawati and Owaisi in the victory of BJP in the UP assembly elections. Raut said, “BJP has got a big victory, UP was their state, yet Akhilesh Yadav’s seats have increased. Mayawati and Owaisi have contributed to BJP’s victory, all of them will have to give Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna. We are happy, wins and losses keep happening. We are also involved in your happiness.”
Sanjay Raut has raised questions on the defeat of the BJP in Punjab. He said, “You tell us time and again how many seats Shiv Sena got in UP? The defeat of Congress and Shiv Sena in UP is worse for you in Punjab. You give some guidance to the country about this. Worry. The topic of this is that the people of Punjab have completely rejected the BJP which is a national party in Punjab. PM Modi, Home Minister, and Defense Minister campaigned fiercely there, yet why did BJP lose?”
Raut asked- Why did the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand lose the election?
Sanjay Raut said, “BJP has won in 4 states. We have nothing to worry about, we are part of your happiness. BJP leaders should tell why Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister lost the election. In Goa, 2 Deputy Chief Ministers were defeated. Of most concern is Punjab, where a nationalist party like the BJP has been completely rejected.”
Raut’s statement on Mayawati-AIMIM is beyond reality, know how much impact it made
Sanjay Raut may have made this election attack on the BJP, but political experts do not consider his allegation to be completely correct. The reason for this is that the BJP has not only benefited from the weakening of Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The Dalit community, which has been the vote bank of the BSP for a long time, has been seen supporting SP candidates in many assembly seats. Such Dalit voters whose livelihood was deeply affected by the Corona-Lockdown, there was resentment towards the BJP government. These voters saw SP chief Akhilesh as an alternative to CM Yogi Adityanath.
As far as AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi is concerned, he could not do a feat like Bihar in UP at all. AIMIM has not got even half a percent (0.49%) of the vote. Experts believe that Muslim votes have gone outright in favor of SP. Several SP candidates have registered victories in Muslim-dominated assembly constituencies. The Muslim voters of UP have unanimously refused to accept Owaisi as their leader.
