Now those people who have their own house or any other property in Delhi will also be able to apply in the new upcoming housing schemes of DDA. After the new rules, a large number of Delhiites will be able to apply in DDA’s housing schemes. In the board meeting of DDA held on Friday, many major changes were made regarding the housing schemes.

Till now, those people who had any property in Delhi in their own name or in the name of any member of the family did not get a chance to apply in the housing schemes of DDA. Due to this, a large number of Delhiites could not apply for the housing schemes of DDA. The DDA has given an exemption to owners of property less than 67 square meters.

22 thousand applications received for housing scheme

The last day of application for 18335 flats under the housing scheme 2021 of the Delhi Development Authority is over. Till March 10, DDA has received 22179 applications, out of which 12253 applicants have registered to make the final payment.

Sale on a first come first serve basis

The DDA has also decided to sell the unsold flats in the housing schemes till now on a first come first serve basis. Anyone can apply for this, no matter how big or small their house, the property is in Delhi. There are about 14 thousand such flats of DDA, which have been left unsold in the housing schemes that are coming continuously since 2014. The DDA has not even imposed a capping of 67 square meters of property for application in these flats. Anyone can apply here on a first-come-first-served basis.

Opportunity to get accommodation in Narela, Siraspur

The DDA has approved changes in the rules to sell its unsold flats and give Delhiites a chance to own their homes. Allotment of land for E-Waste Park: Land was sought from DDA by the Delhi Government to build E-Waste Eco Park. On Friday, 21 acres of land has been allotted by DDA for the Delhi government’s e-waste park. DDA will give 21 acres of land to the Delhi government in Holambi Kalan village of outer Delhi. The Delhi government has already announced the creation of a park for e-waste in the capital. A huge amount of e-waste is generated in the capital. This will solve this problem.
