Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has got another setback from the High Court. The High Court has canceled the result of the examination for recruitment to 900 posts of Veterinary Officer. A few days back, the RPSC RAS ​​Mains 2021 Prelims Result was also canceled by the court. Regarding the result of Veterinary Officer Recruitment-2019 released on 26 November 2020, the court asked the commission to issue a fresh result for the interview by adding the marks of the candidate’s written examination and academic.

Advocate Vigyan Shah, representing the petitioner Vishnudutt Saini and others, said that RPSC had issued a notification for 900 posts of Veterinary Officer, in which 40 percent marks in written examination, 20 percent marks in academic and 40 percent marks in the interview to make merit. There was a provision.

The commission called for an interview on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination only. Doing so violated the recruitment rules and conditions of the advertisement. RPSC had to shortlist the candidates for interview on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination and their academic qualifications.
