On one hand, AKTU is claiming that this time the admissions have been more than last time. Lucknow University says that almost all the seats have been filled. But if you look at the figures, the picture is different. After getting the spot counseling done in Lucknow University, about 500 seats including all the faculties are vacant. AKTU itself released the figures, according to which about 85 thousand seats are currently vacant in engineering colleges across the state. At the same time, BBAU is two steps ahead because the admissions have not yet started in 15 thousand seats of UG-PG here.

First, let’s talk about Lucknow University. Direct admissions were conducted on 135 seats in BTech, MCA, BPharm first semester, and BTech third semester (lateral entry) conducted in the engineering faculty, but even after this, some seats are still vacant. Earlier, even after seven rounds of counseling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow University could not fill seats in B.Tech, MCA, BPharm, and B.Tech third semester (lateral entry). Apart from this, an exercise has been done to fill the seats by taking direct admission in MBA, MCA, but the seats are still vacant.

The lesser trend towards MBA:

This time the trend of candidates in MBA courses has decreased in Lucknow University. This is the reason that despite being given ample opportunities, more than 150 seats are still vacant in the MBA course conducted at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) located in the new campus of the university. Earlier, about 200 seats were vacant, on which the opportunity of direct admission was also given. Even after this, not all seats were filled. The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) is functioning on the second campus of the University at Janakipuram. Here the admission process for MBA (Finance and Control), MBA (HR), MBA (Marketing), MBA (International Business), and MBA (Entrepreneurship and Family Business) courses have been completed but seats are vacant. However, the director of the institute says that since seats are available now, in such a situation, if any interested candidate comes, then he will be admitted.

About 85 thousand seats are vacant in the institutes of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). According to the data released by the university, seats are left vacant in almost all other branches except B.Tech Computer Science, Information Technology, and BPharm. Spot counseling was also conducted to fill them but even after that, the seats remained vacant.

BBAU: Still waiting for admission to start

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University entrance exam results were declared on November 26 but since then, even after 10 days, the admissions have not started here. In the university, about 15 thousand seats, including graduate and PG, are expected to remain vacant this time. Till now no exercise is being taken by the university administration to start the admissions.
