After the resignation of Swami Prasad Maurya from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), his supporters continue to break up with legislators. Now MLA from Shikohabad Mukesh Verma has also resigned. In the last two days, two ministers and some MLAs of the UP government have announced to leave the party.

Mukesh Verma has said in the resignation that the Yogi government did not give any attention to the leaders and public representatives of the Dalit, backward, and minority communities during the tenure of 5 years and they were not given due respect. Mukesh Verma, like Swami Prasad Maurya and Dara Singh, has been grossly neglected by the state government of Dalits, backward, farmers, unemployed youth, and small-small and medium-scale traders.

Will Mukesh also go to SP?

Mukesh Verma has resigned from the primary membership of BJP saying that Swami Prasad Maurya is the voice of the exploited victims and he is their leader. He is with them. Swamy’s going to the Samajwadi Party is believed to be fixed. He will join the SP on January 14.
